Word Game is a challenging and addictive game in which you must create the longest possible word in 30 seconds from a combination of 9 letters. Word game uses one of the "brain exercises" that the BBC recommends for increasing your brain power.
There are ten rounds in each game. You are awarded a point for each letter you use to make a word. Dont forget to submit your score to the high score board.

This game lets you pick a number of vowels and consonants and try to spell your best word before a 30-second timer runs out. Very little strategy, poor use of sound and a somewhat awkward user interface. I cant even seem to find a way to end the countdown early if I already have my word entered This pricepoint is only justified by excellent implementation at all points. I trusted the early reviews and bought it, but I expect this one will drop to 3 stars or fewer quite soon if the author doesnt beef up the offering with options like sound and the ability to enter several words for scoring, as well as change the timer count. Pass on this one, and learn from my mistake.
At first I thought this game was too hard. A lot of letters to juggle and only 30 quick seconds to do it. But, in time I got better at it and it gets more enjoyable every time. Some words (I think they were words) werent accepted and adding an S to make it a plural negates the whole word. The company promises more dictionaries in the future, so maybe the number of acceptable words will grow. Turning off the dirty word filter increases your score for sure! I think the cost of this game is reasonable because it is a good game and you will play it a lot. It is also fun to compare your scores with those in the database of scores. That is a quality feature. The graphics are very good as well. I recommend this game.
Good: I like the overall concept of the game, and I really like the fact that you can see the definitions for some of the more obscure words that you didnt think of. Bad: It needs to recognize plurals better and different tenses better. Also, it would be nice if there was a button to submit your word before the timer was up if you dont want to wait for it to finish. Needs more dictionaries - words like "Glamor" and "Sunny" are pretty common, but were rejected. Overall, I think this game is pretty fun and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys these types of Word Games. And unlike other games, since you can see the definition of the words you could conceivably expand your vocabulary upon repeated use. It just needs a few adjustments.
